WRAPAROUND FOR BETTER COMMUNICATION
Meurer launches new WRAPAROUND employee magazine
Communication is the key to success. The new WRAPAROUND employee magazine at Meurer is designed to improve internal communication and promote information sharing between employees.
A team at Meurer worked for three months developing an employee magazine. The concept had to be created from scratch – from topics covered to the layout and printing. The project was led by Anna Musch, who is completing work experience at Meurer. She has been the driving force behind development of the magazine, exchanging ideas with colleagues about the content. She shared a few comments following the first issue: “It was a great honor to launch the magazine together with my colleagues. I would like to thank everyone involved for their support and I am already looking forward to the next issue – hopefully as many colleagues as possible can be involved.” The magazine was distributed via the departments and in magazine racks in the break rooms.

The new magazine not only keeps employees information with company news, but also provides important information on the ITW Group, an opportunity to get to know some members of the team and information on health and safety measures at the company. An important new features is the Meurer Knowledge section, where colleagues share their expertise with others and take the time to explain, for example, complex processes in a way that is easy to understand. Employees can actively contribute to single issues of the magazine with their own articles, introducing themselves or making suggestions, contributing to improved internal communication. The next issue of the magazine is due to be released at the end of July.
